As we gear up for our next phase of growth, we're seeking a Solutions Engineer to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our customers' data and our platform.

About the role:

As a Solutions Engineer at Cascade, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring smooth data integration for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with customers to understand their data storage methods and requirements, and then design and implement solutions to efficiently bring their data into our platform. You'll work with various data formats and sources, including databases, files, and APIs, utilizing tools such as Fivetran, Databricks, Python, PySpark, SQL, and other technologies to streamline the process.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with customers to understand their data storage methods, formats, and requirements.
• Design and implement solutions to efficiently bring customer data into the Cascade Debt platform.
• Utilize tools such as SQL, dbt, Fivetran, Databricks, PySpark, Python, and others to facilitate data integration processes.
• Define and maintain data mappings between customer systems and Cascade's platform.
• Work to optimize data transfer processes to ensure timely and accurate data ingestion.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, clarifying questions and providing support via email and other communication channels.
• Continuously evaluate and improve data integration processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in a solutions engineering or data integration role.
• Proficiency in Python and related libraries such as pyspark for data manipulation and processing.
• Experience working with data integration tools such as Fivetran and Databricks.
• Strong understanding of databases, file formats, and APIs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers via email and other channels.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable solutions to complex data integration challenges.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
